      Just picked up a copy of a book ‘WIGAN BOROUGH in the FOOTBALL LEAGUE A complete record and Who’s Who 1921-1931’ by Garth Dykes. Cost £12.00 from Waterstones. I great book for anyone interested in the history of football in Wigan, and this former Wigan F.L. League Club. (Glad to say I have a Wigan Borough programme in my programme collection)

          Just got a copy from Amazon. I must say it is an impressive piece of work – well worth it if you are into old football facts.
