Honestly, if you lot claim to hate them as much as you do, ignore them and get on with your lives please
Well said.
They don’t give a fck about rugby…………………………………………….so they say. :roll:30 September 2010 at 2:05 am #47694It would be interesting to see how many we’d take to a cup final 20 miles away.
30 September 2010 at 11:45 am #47699Who cares? We’re hardly in a position to be shouting about poor attendances now are we?
30 September 2010 at 12:06 pm #47701You don’t have to like or dislike them to get frustrated by the stubborness/bitterness/lies.
30 September 2010 at 2:06 pm #47714Funny on Sky this morning.
Going around Pooles Pies factory, asking their staff about the game. Some old woman being interviewed, obviously taken the time to make sure she had her ‘cherry and white’ on. (She’d put a ribbon around her hat and had a red t shirt on)
“We hate them and they hate us” she said.
Cut to some woman in her chippy in St Helens.
“It’s a local,friendly rivalry” she said.
Bit of a difference there, eh?
I still cannot believe that they have to rely on people buying the ‘neutral’ tickets to sell out. I mean, it’s only being played up the road. Imagine if Wigan played Bolton in, say, a league cup final, played for some reason at Old Trafford?
I’ve just added up Scoffy’s figures. 10,000.32,000 my ar*e!

If you think Bolton & Latics would generate a good crowd at OT, you’ve got to wonder where they are every week. :?
Bandwagon maybe? People choosing their matches? A bit like the tens of thousands going to OT from Wigan on Saturday.
Ticket enquiries for next year’s grand final will start next week from all clubs, including and especially Wigan. Therefore, if they reach the final again, big attendance of Wiganers.30 September 2010 at 3:15 pm #47717Yes, yes all this talk of ticket sales is all well and good but what I’d like to know is how many lads are going? What train are they on? Where are they meeting up? Has anything been arranged with the Saints crew away from the prying eyes of the Old Bill?? And of course, what will they be wearing? Is it too early for Millie Miglia jackets? Maybe there will be a Pringle or Lyle & Scott theme given it’s also Ryder Cup week?
It would be a shame if there wasn’t any spectator violence, after all the Wigan firm have been building up to this one all season

Just for you loudmouth ;)
30 September 2010 at 3:44 pm #47720Now that article i do like
30 September 2010 at 4:06 pm #47722Going off topic slightly.
I was watching Granada Reports last night, and I nearly split my sides.
That great scruffy lump of lard who does the the sport introduced an article on RL about a RL player (can’t remember his name) and concluded with something along the lines of ‘that he had become a ‘superstar’ of RL’.Now I know we have a little banter about the chubbies on here, but ‘superstar’ is surely pushing it a bit far.
I couldn’t even name a RL player never mind recognise one as a ‘superstar’, and I dare say 99% of the population couldn’t either.
Even people with as little interest in Football, TV, Film, Comedy etc as I have in RL would be able to name or recognise a true ‘superstar’ of that field.
I would go as far as saying a top RL player is probably as famous as a Dagenham and Redbridge reserve team player.
30 September 2010 at 4:34 pm #47724Why all the insecurity? Honestly, who cares?
30 September 2010 at 5:51 pm #47728Il be happy when this week is over. The egg chasers are so deluded its almost unreal. I got abused by a few egg chasing mates the other day for saying i dont care about the final and couldnt care less if St Helens won. Apparently i was a disgrace because im from Wigan and should want my home town team to win against the main rivals.
I should add that each of them support either United or Liverpoool.
See what im getting at?
30 September 2010 at 6:26 pm #47731I don’t remember the rugby fans uniting as one behind Latics in our last 2 appearances at Wembley do you??
