Its not even a home game. Its an exhibition. I called wigan on it once on facebook when they were bleating about attendances and they deleted the post.
You could argue there are 30k on for wigan as most stay for the last game but it cant be counted as a home game.
Todays game was actually part of season tickets but everyone had to pay again who went. We were charged for 14 home games but may only play 13 if we finish 5th-8th. Usually they charge for 14 and you get the possibility of one free but this year you could lose one. Madness.

Why do the fans let tham get away with all this piss taking. Are they not livid and bombarding the club and the RL about it?
Bloody ‘ell the Latics get railroaded by the fans because the kiosk workers are slow serving the half time pies!!!11 February 2018 at 1:12 pm #166256Why do the fans let tham get away with all this piss taking. Are they not livid and bombarding the club and the RL about it?There was some anger Horc – particularly after a pretty shit season of watching uninspiring rugby. The club sold it to ST holders as there would be no “annual rise”, when in actual fact they had used shrink-flation, as there was less product for the same money. Frankly, after last season, any request for more money without a cast-iron guarantee for better on-field performances was a joke. Many (including myself), thought the Warriors would be starting 2018 with a new head coach. We will have to wait and see as to how it has gone down with fans, as the first home game isn’t until 2 March. There hasn’t been a regular season league attendance at the DW below 10K for almost 13 years, but the performances last season may well have that record broken unless the entertainment level increases.
That said, the first two games have shown a completely different Wigan to the fayre that was on offer for most of last season. In 2017 we won our first four league games and a World Club Challenge, so I’ll reserve judgement for now!
11 February 2018 at 2:07 pm #166257Still don’t understand playing it in Australia, if they’d gone to any other large sports mad country where they haven’t seen it before you could understand the logic..I doubt
It would have done any good but at least it would have been bold….nothing revolutionary about playing RL in Australia ??When they took a game to Millwall a few years ago …. what was the point ….?
And if I was ST holder I’d be well cheesed off at these antics(Best kit they’ve had for a while mind)
