12,000 empty seats for a game against their most massive massive rivals.
Back in the days of 40,000 capacity at Tesco that game would have been a sell out.
Rugby League in on its way out Mr Lindsay. B)
20 August 2016 at 3:25 pm #150096I’d like to tell you that maths really isn’t your strongpoint is it, or are you (again) resorting to made up figures to support your point of view, but Thickymon doesn’t like anyone pointing out innacuracies or contradicting the anti-Wigan Warriors comments on here, so I wont do that.
I’d also like to tell you that its probably best you get going if you want to make the 3pm kick off at Nottingham, or will your attendance there be another made up claim, but again Thickymon doesn’t like me doing that because it would put you in a bad light, so again I wont do that.
I will however quote thickymon, because apparently that is allowed:
“Knob”

23 August 2016 at 6:06 pm #150186Hate the fatties. Worst supporters in the land as us saints sang to them Friday. 25 0 and you didnt hear a peep from them and they all left early.
27 August 2016 at 2:16 pm #150272What a big soft get he is!
Maybe he should watch a re run of the 2013 FA Cup final, see a Wigan club win a big trophy.
Fuck the EFL
27 August 2016 at 11:16 pm #150302Or maybe he has something better to do today – like the rest of the Wigan public.
So far today Ive seen a bloke in a Man City shirt in Tescos (fair enough, they play tomorrow), a Liverpool shirt wearing fella on Park Road (away, and limited tickets available), and a lad wearing a Wigan football shirt on Frog Lane at 4.15pm. I take it the game today kicked off early.

Not watched the game, seen the highlights or read the match report. Never do. It’s like the end of Bullseye…….”look what you could have won”
2 September 2016 at 2:24 am #150415Another spanking for the so called biggest RL club in the world by little Widnes
The measly crowd booing at half time less than 11,500 on for a Super 8s game at the DW Stadium (make that 6,500)
At one point little Widnes were down to eleven men and the slutch rats couldnt get a point on the board, referee Bentham was superb tonight.
Another potless season awaits! :woohoo: Oh and Rat face looks like a right pillock with his bleached blonde hair, made my weekend that.
Fuck the EFL

1 October 2016 at 1:30 pm #151157Just 15,000 empty seats in the semi final thingy. Hull must have taken a few too. Any of the National newspapers and TV pick up on this like they have done in the past with some of our disastrous crowds. I don’t think so.
1 October 2016 at 2:09 pm #151158Yep but all the glory hunters will be queuing for tickets cracking on they go to every match home and away, they’ll all be digging their gravy stained Elgren shirts out that haven’t seen daylight since Good Friday and poncing around the town centre today!
Fuck the EFL
4 October 2016 at 9:13 pm #151222What happened to the ‘London home game’?
Obviously it was a shit idea Mr Lennigan?
5 October 2016 at 2:06 am #151238Whatever I, or anyone else thinks about the game of RL as a whole, Wigan RL, their level of support…to ask any set of fans to travel 400+ miles in total for a home game is beneath contempt. It wasn’t just a “bad” idea, it was one that was an utter disgrace and a kick in the whatsits to the Wigan fans. Glad to see that it failed miserably both in terms of support and more importantly attracting the “Blue Chip” sponsors they were hoping for.
