But not if Bob plays Scharner,Scotland,Gomez or Marino………..
Yeah, course they will.
Funny that Vat youve just reminded me of something. I said before the Liverpool game that I thought we had a chance of beating them. You had a go at me over it, calling me allsorts, attempted to volley me all over the board and promised to come back and laugh at me when we were in the bottom three a couple of weeks later
Well I’m still waiting
PS I don’t think we’ll beat Chelsea but looking forward to it regardless
This will sound proper daft, but I hope they have to win the game to be sure of the title. That way, they may still show a bit of nerves and apprehension.
If they’ve already won it they could well relax and give us a proper scutching.

No, doesn’t sound daft. I said the same (not on here) earlier this week. Their crowd is useless as well and if they need a win and haven’t scored within a few minutes the moaning and groaning will get to the players I think.
Could be fun!
I hope Chelsea need a win against us as I think the atmosphere at the Bridge will be as tense as hell. I can see us ending the season as we started it and recording an improbable win, but I’d take a draw!
In any event, it promises to be exciting and with no pressure on us we can all enjoy the day in warm sunshine after a few beers with any luck! 8-)

Hey come on, who expected shock wins V liverpool and Arsenal? Nobody.
This Chelsea game though…..if they have to win for the title…..sorry but I just can’t see it.

Wasn’t suggesting we’d win. I am suggesting that if they have already won the title they may relax and we could easily end up being the 4th time to get done by 7 there this season.
If they are still needing a win to get the title, the may be a little more ready and happy to simply grind out a result.
I won’t be parting with £48 for a ticket, put it that way.
There was never any chance of that
No, to be honest, if we’d have been still playing for something, I might have done it. Not done Chelsea since that first season, when Jose accused Lee McCulloch of ‘Sheeting’.
£48 ticket, £25 coach, £5 for a tiny box of chips from Harry Ramsdens at Chelsea, and more money on a few drinks (soft) and a programme. I just can’t justify it anymore.
