A lot of this is kidology. Sterling wasn’t good enough for Liverpool, and De Bruyne was a Chelsea reject. Just stick a man marker on Aguero. Apart from that, just concentrate on our own game.

I had 20 on us at 18/1……thought every player was so disciplined and carried out Cooks orders to the t. Special mention for Max Power …covered every blade of grass from minute 0 to 94…..Now lets sort Rovers out as they keeping our top spot warm for us…….A magnificent night….never seen a Wigan team defend like that…Well dine everyone.

Absolutely … Max played a blinder (as did everyone) BUT IT WASN’t “0 – 94”. The ref, FA and Emirates so much wanted citeh to win or get a replay that the ref added even more time, and help. That was never just 4 minutes, more like 6 or 7. But all the same, Max and the rest continued to cover the ground.
Watched it back on TV last night and when all the ground sing Will Griggs on fire after we scored the atmosphere was fantastic theirs certainly some noise(makes a change).

Last night was fantastic, an amazing atmosphere and a great achievement. Some acknowledgement of the tactics, we completed got behind the ball in the box and let them do what they wanted to outside of it. We actually did what teams have been doing to us as the dw but an even more extreme version of it. Excellent organisation. I was impressed with Perkins, despite hardly playing this season he did well, lost the ball a bit towards the end but he must have been shattered. Took a long time to get to sleep last night.
Good that we are playing Rochdale who will be on a similar high so hopefully been don’t get caught cold.
