Called at the ticket office today (dont ask),anyroad three blokes/lads with Wigan accents were trying to buy eight tickets for the Liverpool game…
Conversation went like……Quote…Plastic scouser…`we live in Winstanley`
Bird on counter….`have you bin to a game before`
PS….`no but we support Wigan`
B.O.C….`sorry lads,if yer not on t`register`
PS…..`orr ey` (in scouse accent)
B.O.C…..I can register you, then you can buy tickets for t`West Brom game`
PS….`yer jokin arnt yer`(in scouse accent)
B.O.C….`next`
Summert needs sorting at t`DW,7-10,000 empty seats every week yet they can afford to turn people away!
Placcie scousers or not, they were willin to shell out 250 dabs but the club said no!
2 November 2010 at 7:39 pm #50040Was speaking to my Liverpool supporting mate the other day and he was saying that they we’re struggling to shift all of their own tickets anyway.
2 November 2010 at 7:53 pm #50042I agree with truelatic, if they live in wigan what is the problem. When chelsea e.t.c come up here and the wigan teenagers go to the ticket office in their black gangster accents do they get turned away too
2 November 2010 at 8:01 pm #50043thats probably true that liverpool cant sell their tickets, i dont know how many noticed but the top tier at bolton was only half full on sunday. once things get tough their off like a shot
2 November 2010 at 8:08 pm #50044I suppose its quite expensive travelling from Dublin/Bristol/Surrey/Cornwall etc etc to support Liverpool Football Club every week!
2 November 2010 at 9:33 pm #50054Was speaking to my Liverpool supporting mate the other day and he was saying that they we’re struggling to shift all of their own tickets anyway. They must be so embarrassed, their away end’s half empty most games.
I was sat next to 3 Everton fans for the match last year and they we’re decent lads – and I took the mick out of them when we we’re singing anti-scouse songs ;)
If their quiet, they can sit in our end (on the front row so they get wet) – but remember what happened when Liverpool fans where in the East Stand …. chaos.
2 November 2010 at 10:31 pm #50064well said sephton thats why the club have too do this because it is the plastic scouses and mancs of our town that are the problem f@@k,um the to@@ers.
2 November 2010 at 11:13 pm #50072If there’s no trouble in the East, i’ll be surprised.
At Blackburn, are there 2 boarded off concourses in the Upper Tier, if not there could be some trouble
2 November 2010 at 11:39 pm #50077we get all the upper tier at blackburn.
3 November 2010 at 1:00 am #50097thats probably true that liverpool cant sell their tickets, i dont know how many noticed but the top tier at bolton was only half full on sunday. once things get tough their off like a shotThe top tier was only half full cos noblot wouldn’t give them their full allocation due to the fact they won’t sit down. It happens to Man U fans as well. We don’t give a shyte, sell them the full allocation and let them do what they want. Liverpool will sell their full allocation without a shadow of a doubt and will also be dotted around the other 3 stands in numbers un aw.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!3 November 2010 at 1:22 am #50099Liverpool, United and Arsenal are the only team to sell out their entire away allocation every game. The North will be full no doubt. I’d hate to give up the East but it’d make commercial sense to have it allocated to away support again. Would guarantee a few sell outs
