Everytime I listen to Wish Fm, when latics are playing, he pisses me off! You know the broad Wiganer who doesnt pronounce any name correct… The scouse guy is decent always gives a good analysation of the game etc..
He said last night that Mccarthy was playing.. He meant Mccarthur..

Once heard him interview Paul Sculthorpe on Wish and he opened it up with “How ya doin’, Scully Lad?”
Now I’m no big fan of “Scully Lad” but I’d have been tempted to come back with “who the f*** do you think you’re lad-ing you old lard @rse get?”

Who’s the scouse lad? Only listened on sat for the first time and last night as i usually go the matches. He has his moments where he really gets into the game and when decisions go against us.

Be it rugby or football, if you’re listening to Lovett commentate and know what’s going on then you’re better than me.
Graham Lovett pronounces Alcaraz (like my grandad) as Alcatraz.
The commentry is very poor from Lovett “and the team” even though he’s pretty funny on occasion.
Bring in Paul Jewell to do the commentry :)
Paul Chialton is the scouse lad commentating I would assume, as he is part of the media team set up at Latics.

His insistance to call N’Zogbia Charlie Boy throughout the game pees me offI listened to it for the Hartlepool game in the Cup and midway through the game he started to describe the surroundings of the stadium for some reason.
The scouser when I have ever listened has always been Sir Neill Rimmer, so i presume thats who you mean.
