If he hadn’t peaked when we got promoted then maybe he would have been a good Premier League striker. Personally I blame West Brom, signed him, even thought they already had 5 good strikers. Then off loaded him to Watford and never got out of the Championship. and now fails to get in it. A mate of mine, who lives in Ashton says he knows a bloke that saw him in the January 07 I think it was, may have been earlier. He was in Ashton, He asked him ” You coming back Nathan?” He replied with “It looks like it.” Obviously it didn’t, then Jewell left and Hutchings didn’t get him. Who knows what would have happened if he’d came back then, or never left atall. I think he’d be better than he is today for sure.
Brought plenty of cracking memories though.
The duke was only in his prime thanks to a certain Jasin Roberts they were lethal together. When in the championship but i would of liked to see them together int prem for at least a season but the dukes agent the sh itbag known as willie McKay saw to that
And Camara i believe and i think Roberts .he may represent some in the team now
