I can see maloney being pushed further up front as was the case against forest, with mamanaman & mclean on the wings, & with shotton signed, perhaps mcarthur or perch in t.he midfield position vacant by mccarthy
We’ve enough attacking type midfielders at the club so no need to get a forward in. Last Saturday’s first half proved that.
With MacManaman, Caldwell and Ramis all to come back,, cash in the kitty for the January window I personally think were in a strong position to push for promotion.
And what’s wrong with throwing Dicko in up front ? I thought he should have come on last Saturday for 10 -15 mins.
For me there was a couple of signings I didn’t like the look of but with Coyle signing so many players in one foul swoop the chances of him getting it right from the off was nigh impossible. At least he has made the changes rather pursue to the end , unlike our last manager,
