DW will throw in an incentive to stay up ie a bonus……
Saying that thought maybe he should say if we don’t stay up you don’t get fookin paid !!!
No need for a bonus. I think most clubs now have relegation clauses written into the players’ contracts – if memory serves me correct, Newcastle were the only club to have gone down recently that didnt have anything in place, hence Joey Barton picking up £70K a week in the Championship!
DW is a savvy fella when it comes to contracts, and I’m damned sure that should Wigan go down, the wage bill will reduce considerably.
if they value the security of a large pay packet they will scrap and fight to stay up and the owner and his manager know this.
