I hope Honduras get the sort of run that Senegal had in the 2002 World Cup.
I want England to do well but I’m not overwhelmed by pride for the team, at least the manager has been choosing players based on form and not status… but Jamie Carragher?!

I’d like to see Honduras do well but i cant see it myself.
I don’t see what all the hatred is about for Carragher. I cant think of many other English defenders who are as versatile, have top flight experience for over 10 years and have won the Champions league, Uefa cup & FA Cup.
Versatile, but he’s not had a very good season, along with other England players at Liverpool like Gerrard and Johnson and… oh.
Maybe he’ll play well, more likely he won’t. But at least he’s not had injury problems and in that respect he might play better than someone like Rio Ferdinand.
