The Football Association of Wales (FAW) has begun disciplinary action against its chief executive Jonathan Ford for saying the next Wales manager could be “foreign”, but “definitely not English”.
The EA 2010 was brought in for exactly this reason. Its about time the rest of the UK started being brought to task over discrimination against the English.
I dont blame him for not wanting an English manager after what we’ve witnessed over the past few years with the England set up!

The laws of our green & pleasant land are that an employer is not allowed to discriminate against anyone based on their nationality, ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation or gender.
Like it or not by making that comment, he was discriminating against any suitably qualified English candidate.
Saying that, I’m sure he will say that he was joking & get a slap on the wrist
He quite clearly is joking. I doubt they would refuse to employ someone English if he was the best option.

He quite clearly is joking.As was Mark Sampson when he referred to Ebola. Glenn Hoddle lost his job as England manager because of a comment about disabled people. Malky McKay made a few jokes and was sacked from Cardiff and blackballed from the Palace job and even now is unemployable in the UK. Even DW ended up in the shit for making a joke about Chinese & Jews which called time on his chairmanship.
There’s a time and a place for jokes. But if you think that joking about one of the protected characteristics covered by EA 2010 is funny, then its best to joke about them in private with trusted friends and no journos.

Thats exactly what Ron Atkinson did…..
….except he had forgot to turn his mic off.
They have received no complaints about it but are still wasting money on a 3 man panel to investigate it.
They will end up with an english boss now because if not then any english applicants will claim discrimination.
And it is very different to calling someone a n***** or blatant sexism.
