Scotland has however been thrown into the Premier League from teh Championship. I still believe there is time for him.
For me the big disappointment is Melchiot. Couldn’t in any way call him a defender (how many last ditch tackles or clearances of the line does he make?), his passing is woeful, and he displays no leadership qualities whatsoever.
And this from someone who has 22 caps for Holland.
Jason Koumas without a doubt. Had a real chance to prove himself worthy of a regular place in the Stoke game, and was absolute pants !!! Never played anywhere near his potential.
Scharns?!?!?! Are you crazy man? There’s been far worse than him, he’s one of the few with a bit of energy and bite that will get up people’s arses! Melchiot, Gomez and mainly Scotland have been awful. Sinclair’s been a little disappointing in his few appearances. And don’t get me started on Edman…
I have to agree with Melchiot. He has had a terrible season and looks like he’s just playing out his time here at the moment. I’ve not once seen him shouting at players either encouraging them or boll-ocking them after a mistake.
Running him close is Kirkland, since Nigel Spink left he has lost all confidence, doesn’t command is box and gets injured getting out of bed. Great shot stopper, but you need more than that in your armoury to be a great goalie.
Jason Scotland despite not scoring yet is nowhere near my list of failures this season. How anyone can call him lazy is beyond me.
Arent you a little ray of sunshine, Completely disagree about Bramble as I think he is a good player and I notice you failed to compliment N’zogbia when he has been a different class to everybody this season, think he is awesome and highly doubt he wants a move to Birmingham.
Worst player- Scotland…Cant remember who said it but earlier in the thread one of you men said he needs time, how much time can he have…he’s 30! He was too old when we signed him unless he was proven to be a instant success, which I can safely say, He has not.
