FFS. Every side has a bad patch. We are still in 2nd and if we win our game(s) in hand will be top and clear of 3rd.
My personal opinion is that players have an eye on playing Monday and weren’t really too arsed. Get that out the way and we’ll be reet.
14 February 2018 at 3:05 am #166374I thought everyone was saying what a magnificent transfer window we’d had.
A bad few days and it’s everyone on suicide watch!
Yes – tonight was abysmal, but we’ll get over it.14 February 2018 at 3:06 am #166375Let’s hope so but other than the cup games we haven’t looked that impressive in our home games for a long time.
14 February 2018 at 3:09 am #166376we have gone top tonight but still a long way to go.3 horse race and anything can happen with a a lot of points to play for.i think the slight advantage we have is there is no expectation for us to be promoted so less pressure on us.a lot of pressure on yourselves and Blackburn as you are both expected to be promoted.hopefully you will be promoted with us and Blackburn miss out in play offfs so hopefully you will beat them when you play each other. good luck versus Man City and when you play Blackburn hope to visit you again next season in the championship.

Yes – tonight was abysmal, but we’ll get over it.Transfer window was brilliant as we didn’t lose key players only Evans.

Yes – tonppight was abysmal, but we’ll get over it.We had a great January.
Bizarrely, Cook hasn’t utilised his squad so the players look out on their feet. Now we’re heading into March and Cook has to take a look at his team again. He could have supplemented the regular first eleven these last few weeks, ie Fulton for Morsy, Walker and Colclough for Jacobs and Massey. And tonight, Vaughan starting, with Cole as an option on the bench.
As it is, we know very little about the new signings, so it would be risky to make wholesale changes. Cook’s policy doesn’t make any sense to me, he must have seen this coming after the dip in home form at Christmas, and the fixture backlog thanks to the FA Cup.

Are you having a moan about our cup run? Aye! I remember a time 32 years ago when we had a team striving for promotion & reaching the FA cup quarter finals. Don’t recall anyone back then saying it was a distraction. Back then we all enjoyed the ride.
14 February 2018 at 12:42 pm #166409One match behind because of international duty/ mid season holiday.

… And didn’t get promoted!
14 February 2018 at 5:45 pm #166442And we may not get promoted this time Vat and the FA Cup will be nothing to do with that.
14 February 2018 at 7:16 pm #166449The difference between 86/87 & now vat, was there wasn’t any expectation back then. We could enjoy the ride in those days, & we should still do so now.
