The boy has publically apologised to players, staff and fans. Cookie has not condoned his actions but has put it down to “youthful exuberance”. Not what we want to see, but a clear indication that the players are hyped up and fighting, literally, for the cause.

Look, this would have been far more serious if we had gone and lost the game. It seems like we are just brushing away the seriousness of what this idiot did. The win sort of cushions it.
