Not a fan of the loanee is Donny.
12 October 2017 at 1:42 am #162500To be fair Johnny, these 2 were quite good!
They didn’t actually play together as a pair that much though…….it was usually one or the other.
At Wembley, Mc Arthur played right wing back.

Well McCarthur seemed to think that they were a good partnership and I seem to remember them being an integral part of our relegation avoiding team!

12 October 2017 at 8:02 pm #162510Well how many times can we say any midfielder has a partner. Morsy and Beavises mate play well in the team together but would they be classed as a midfield partnership or simply two midfielders just like midfielders before Bullard and Kavanagh and midfielders since. Indeed were Bullard and Kavanagh strictly partner’s. They played in a midfield of four just like the two mentioned who play in a midfield of five today.
Oh does it really matter, we’re winning at the moment and playing great as a team in general.12 October 2017 at 8:20 pm #162511Well how many times can we say any midfielder has a partner. I think you’re letting time cloud your memory. They played together in the middle of the park more than they didn’t – & by a long stretch.
The only reason McArthur played right wing back at Wembley was because we were down to the bare bones of the squad as everyone was dropping like flies – that’s the same reason Espinoza was at left wing back12 October 2017 at 9:41 pm #162514Well how many times can we say any midfielder has a partner. 12 October 2017 at 10:14 pm #162515Not funny really. I can’t understand that head butt malarkey. If I did it I’d end up worst off with a gash or a golf ball lump.
