9 March 2019 at 10:52 pm #176983Apparently cook was on a wish saying he feels sick.. he doesn’t feel as sick as me with our away record. Lol.
Not as sick as IEC when we go down.
He must suffer from Munchausens syndrome then because it’s him who’s causing all this.9 March 2019 at 11:05 pm #176986Please dump him tonight. Anyone will do,even no manager. Substitutions, signings, tactics….hopeless in all departments.Anyone on here who really wants him to stay is totally bereft of any common sense. His incompetence away is there for all to see….that’s sackable as it is.What the shit do the Royales do???are they blind or just powerless???Blackburn will hammer us as shit as they are Bolton will get a draw then 0 points till Millwall!!!Can I step in as manager for a couple of months?
9 March 2019 at 11:16 pm #176992He does seem to make changes for changes sake sometimes.
We seem to be the architects of our own downfall. I said last week this period of 3 aways on the trot could see us dragged into the mire. I wasn’t confident at Derby, I am not confident going to Blackburn, and out of the three games, I figured we would end up with a point at most, and that would be at Reading. We should be talking about an away win here, a crucial 3 points. But amazingly, we aren’t.
Cook shouldve been out weeks ago. It would be a huge move to oust him now, and no idea who would replace him now. But we are in a bad state and managerial decisions are poor, and going against us.9 March 2019 at 11:27 pm #176994The team selection today I thought , Clarke out positive, Powell Massey back , good to hear, Robinson , positive if he’s allowed to attack bit of pace. We always looked threatening and Reading were unsure if to take risk or not.
Then,
Up pops Cook. Today you 100% cannot blame that starting 11. They tried and created a fair few chances.
The blame lies today in the lap of Cook. Always looking at 1-2 up to “Let’s hang on” rather than more of the same, no changes as it’s working well and go for the killer goal.
It’s negative and negativity breeds negativity, I’m sorry but do the decent thing Paul and throw the towel in m8, it’s clear as daylight the jobs just to big for you.
Those key decisions in vital moments like today are the difference between good and average manager, today has only highlighted which bracket Cook falls into.9 March 2019 at 11:52 pm #177004It’s negative and negativity breeds negativity, I’m sorry but do the decent thing Paul and throw the towel in m8, it’s clear as daylight the jobs just to big for youSo who comes in? Joe Royle? Peter Reid?

Graeme Jones?
10 March 2019 at 12:15 am #177009Did you lot watch game? How did we hang on at 2-1? They didn’t have a shot and we had chances like Powell to make it 3-1? Powell and Massey were shattered and asked to come off. Weve put in two decent performances this week and but for some bad luck could have easily had 4 points. Still not been in bottom 3 and I fancy us for beating Bolton next week to give us some breathing space.
10 March 2019 at 12:47 am #177012Powell and Massey knackered?
Neither have done anything for weeks! Should be fresh. Players arent fit enough, could see that V Boro.

Are you having a laugh? Or are you actually being serious? You & a few others want rid off a manager who you claim to have no experience & so on & so forth. Yet you want to replace him with someone with NO managerial experience whatsoever. Jones is a good coach, that’s all.

Jones…operated at PL level as assistant to Martinez, and said to be the stronger coach out of the two.
He has also worked at World Cup and international level with Belgium, and been assistant at Albion, taking them to 4th in the table.
He has been consistently courted and pursued by Luton, who really want him as their manager…Ex Latics cult hero who then was assistant during our greatest ever achievement….
Yeah, he would be a terrible choice….
10 March 2019 at 3:29 pm #177032Couldn’t imagine a Martinez part 2. What an awfully thought

I think he would be a bad choice. The only coach I can think of who made the step-up & had success was John deehan. The rest who we took on, Swain, joyce, hutchings sure there are more, have all failed miserably.
Some actually prefer to remain a number 2.

And practically everyone who worked under Fergie the best in the modern era failed

Warren Joyce was seen as one of the best coaches around and it is one of the main reasons he got the job. We all know what happened next.
