:) I don’t particularly want to defend it, no. I honestly can’t get excited about it at all because I never buy them.
If I were to have a concern it would be that the team don’t look stupid in it and I don’t think they will. Grown men who are not actually playing football at the time they are wearing a replica shirt look stupid in them anyway, in my opinion, so I don’t really care about that side of things.
If pushed, I’d have to say I’d prefer the traditional striped effort but this is not a million miles away in my view. As Tyldesley says, you can’t please everyone. Some will like it, some won’t. Personally, I couldn’t care less.[/quote]
Not going to disagree with anything said there but it does slightly annoy me watching us in our cheap kits up against the conistently smart kits of the bigger teams. It does make us look amateur-ish, but thats just my opinion.
Shrewsbury Town, Carlisle United, etc spring to mind.You say that but even Morcambe have a smart Puma kit

I do agree that the club should start trying to involve fans in the choice of kit in a “here are 4 kits vote for your favourite” kind of way but that still wouldn’t guarantee a choice everyone would be happy with coz people have different tastes – just coz a song is #1 in the charts it doesn’t mean its the best song around does it?Good idea in theory, but if the material is going to be that cheap regardless of which we chose i still wouldnt buy it.
The initial visuals of the kit with Vandanels logos on it don’t actually look too bad, compared to how bad its turned out, so even if we got to chose a kit it wouldnt necessarily turn out to be good.
Can’t see the link to the club site from behind my firewall and therefore obviously can’t see the design, but I am pretty impressed that you can tell the quality of the material from a picture.:lol: You really want to defend this kit don’t you.

I got slated for critisising the fact it was inevitable mi-fit wouldnt produce a good kit, and it seems im right.
Looks the same cheap material as vandanel used. And it doesnt look like a Wigan kit.
