Mark Burgess was in The Sun And Moon last I heard. That was only a couple of year ago !They reformed last year. Played academy last september n now bolton, ashton u lyne n Bochum in Germany which took me back to watching Spear of Destiny there back in 1987
Well I certainly hope we hammer them but I just happen to think they are a decent set of fans unlike your Mancs or Scousers who take it for granted that they should win everything year in year out ! Any of the ES2 lot shouting ” Goin down ” etc to the Portsmouth fans ! They are a great set of fans and dont deserve what has happened to their club in my opinion. If just a handful of our fans could take a leaf out of their book it would be a move in the right direction for sure ! I doff my cap to them ! We should applaud them !What if they start singing it to us 1st ?

Doesn’t matter about them having a chance, the 2nd leg is next week, so its well before our game against them. If Barca play anything like the football they did last night, they’ll get 6. I can’t see them creating the same amount of chances and slipping up again. Only for Almunia that game would have been over after 20 minutes.Think he meant the semi finals maybe near the time we play them .
I remember the Cross Keys flag, the used to have a St George’s flag but then upgraded to a bigger flag which was Blue, think it was still a St George’s cross but in Wigan colours. Haven’t seen it since our Championship days.As for the Golbourne flag, I remember it well, appears on the 10 of the Best DVD at the bottom of the South Stand. My advice to anyone who owns a flag is take it, I am going to start taking mine again and think everybody who owns one should get their worth out of it. Trust me original golbourne, you can’t blame your flag for our performances in those games and nobody will pinch it if you leave it at the bottom of the Family Stand, I always left mine where I couldn’t see it,
especially away from home.

I am thinking of getting a new flag from Barmy Flags, it will be the horizontal split (Blue and White) with either WAFC or WE COME FROM WIGAN at the top and WE LIVE IN MUDHUTS at the bottom. My current flag is 10ft x 5 or 6ft and is the perfect size.
Who here or any know who owns the flags (2 or 3) that are lined up in ES1 (empty section)? They are at every/most home game/s.

I wonder whether the Europa games are taking toll on Fulham’s squad, are they sacrificing Premier League games to make sure their players are fit for the European ones.Maybe they feel that the only way they realistically can qualify again is through winning it!
We play them just a few days after they play the first leg of their quarter final and just a few days before they travel away for the second leg. I wonder if Roy will play a weakened team against us?
