Does anyone have, or know somebody who has any footage/video from the game?
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
7 April 2010 at 12:00 pm #28888Think i have some footage on video somewhere. It prob only 20 or 30 seconds long and has Citys goal on it. might take some finding tho due to several moves over last few years ;) .Also seem to remember the old supporters club having a night when they showed all the game but that was Springfield park days.
7 April 2010 at 12:19 pm #28890I’ve already checked the supporters club and they said they don’t think they have it, if you can find it let me know, I’m sure one of you has my number….

7 April 2010 at 12:40 pm #28892oh how great that would be if someone had some footage, of for me the greatest, Latics performance of all time bar none, a non league side, to play the 1st div champions of the time, and only lose 1nil, and that at Maine Rd, and to a highly dubious goal, due to your keepers boot splitting, memories mark my words this was the team, that should have got us promoted to the Football League, it was the best Non League team ever, and we should have equalised with a Geoff Davies header, what a result that would have been, I know I was there, broke a ten year old kids heart, I hope our side now show as much heart and fight in these last few games now, as that team showed every time they took to the pitch, heres hoping on both counts, finding some footage and showing some heart and fight, because thats what it will come down to now Bottle.

7 April 2010 at 9:43 pm #28929Joe Mercer was so impressed with the performance by the team when he went to manage Coventry shortly after he took Gordon Milne with him as his no 2 if my memory serves me well. What a performance on the day i kept my rosette with the little silver FA cup on it for years.
