I blame the left wing pinkos of the fifties and sixties for the parents we have of today….

The Captain Pugwash “characters” were an urban legend for which a couple of newspapers were successfully sued for in the early 90s.
There was a Tom The Cabin Boy and Master Mate but none of the afore mentioned double entendres.
arky they have gone along way in telecommuncations since the the two tins and a peice of long string?. believe it or not you can get online now with a mobile?. :oTrust me when I say this. I know what model of mobile Arky owns and despite modern advances in telecommunication techology I’ll give you a Blue Peter Badge if you can get that thing to connect to the internet.
