I remember watching Jimmy Tarbuck at the Villa Marina in the Isle of Man many moons ago. Kenny Lynch was Tarbuck’s side kick and the but of many of his jokes. Don’t think he would get away with it these days, but at that time everyone saw the funny side of it without having to look over their shoulders for the ant-racism brigade. :woohoo:

What a journey!I thought macca was deffo on his way a few weeks back, but believe he will stay now.
The club rightly so are looking for between £15-20 million and the majority of the so called “interested clubs” are picking up other players, namely Liverpool and Spurs.
If Felini and Baines leave Everton, there may be a possibility that Martinez will come sniffing, but £15 -20 million? me thinks he’ll look elsewhere, possibly Spain.
I can see Coyle offering Macca another deal and if he turns it down, he will look to offload him in January. B)

What a journey!I’ve watched Coyle’s interview after the friendly last night and he insists that nobody else is leaving the club. He mentions that the lads who played a part in last season’s relegation, are keen to help us bounce back.[wish Bobby had the same sentiments]
He talked about two deals that are very close to being concluded, but didn’t want to reveal who they are until they had penned a deal.
He went on to say that there are another two players who he hopes to have in ready for the 3rd August. :ohmy:I know managers have to say the right things, especially when they first join a club, but he seems very confident over these targets and has won me over fairly quickly in how he has conducted himself and not stood on ceremony waiting for things to happen. . :cheer:

What a journey!Anyone know if theres any truth in the rumour that he’s having a medical?I think there might have been a misunderstanding in translation. I was under the impression that the geezer from Bristol City, Adomah, was having a medical at Wigan tomoz after both clubs agreed a transfer fee, that could rise to £1m. :woohoo:
