Why do i love Wigan Athletic? Having been a fan in the non league era i suppose there is no logic really having so many big clubs around us at the time. All i know is i was a snotty nosed school kid who went to Springy for the first time v Burscough we won 5-2 and i was totally hooked. Over 40 yrs later im still Latics mad and proud of my club. The success and great memories Wigan Athletic F C has given me cannot be bettered.
