fair point well made. Will do. If you see someone sneezing behind their Arouna Kone facemask tomorrow, you’ll know which one she is
Bing,
Do you not think that the referee warning him about tackling Dawson made him less likely to go near him in the second half ?
Don’t usually get hung up on refs, but the way that game was refereed yesterday, with the number of innocuous tackles from our lot getting punished, meant that our midfield were standing off them, especially in the first half
but he’s still one of ours…..
Could be worse – you could be an evertonian wondering which pair of tracky bottoms to wear. One things for sure, at least there won’t be any empty seats on scouse couches this saturday. :silly:
good work and good memories – if I knew how to up your karma I’d do it
good
Maybe it’s because he’s not got over his brother Tony being a better footballer than him ?
1. 34 years
2. The football’s ok, but we defend like 8 year olds
3. Closer than Jimmy Saville to a teenage girl on TOTP
4. Oh yes (said in a Churchill insurance dog style)
5. Could have done with shoring up the RH side of defence a bit more; and a winger would have been nice too. Our small squad can’t cope with the number of injuries we’ve had this year.
6. Apart from the first 10 minutes, we were worth a draw. Of course, if we’d have hurt you, you may have just gone up a gear.
7. James McCarthy; Sean Maloney (although Ivanovic can punch him in the back AGAIN if he can catch him)
8. Frankie ! A goal scoring midfielder and my wife likes him
9. 3 – 4 – 3. Bugger
10. We’ll either get caned; pinch a point or tank you 2-1Goodnight and Thank You
‘Tis true, there are some eejit cyclists.
There are also some brave and hardy souls still cycling in the shorter days of winter.
To anyone thinking about the road tax issue. Are you assuming that they don’t also drive a car / motorbike / something else you might pay road tax for ? – so are already contributing to the deteriorating state of our roads.
Escape by Craig Armstrong
Went to Chorley today – they dominated the game, struck the woodwork 3 times and made enough chances to win 4 other matches.
Then nearly got beat by being sloppy at the back.
Sound familiar ?
Really liked the shuffle from behind one goal to the other at HT. Reminded me of the old days at Springfield Park.
870 on, and leaving in the dark down a side street.
Going to have to be careful before I get stuck in 1981.
Definitely be going back, and all for £4.
I will hold my hands up now. This day didn’t go quite as I hoped.
And now there’s a documentary of SuBo on the TV. All credit to you Mr A B Blue – it seems your powers of perception trump mine.
Doubt it, but I don’t think we’ll know anyway as I feel a win is on the cards.
Cheer up love,
I thought the lad looked ok yesterday (even though he did look like he was very far away).
He might have had more of a chance to make an impact if someone had given him the ball!
What’s the point of having a winger and going inside all the time ?
His absence was noticeable when Hugo went left (nominally) and we there was a gap where you’d expect to see a winger.
Ole Albert – see you next Sunday !
Lots of love,
Pablo el diablo
It’s fine being unlucky; and it’s fine doing all the lovely passing in midfield – but all people remember is when the last pass goes astray.
But how can you be so unlucky so often ?
Eventually you have to ask can you wait forever.
To paraphrase a bloke cleverer than most on here once said, the definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and to expect a different result.
