I am really up for this one. I have worked in Leyland for the last 3 years and there is a lot of Blackburn fans work there.

Not long after Bobby took over i made a statement that Bobby was the best manager we have and will ever have. I meant it in the way that i could see his potential, he was young and that in 10 years down the line he will be at a massive club somewhere in Europe if not this country and that we could look at him and say he was our manager on the way up.

About 2 weeks after saying it Spurs hammered us 9-1 and i have taken stick ever since. When things were not going right this season like the Fulham and Sunderland home games i told them we were the best team (Sunderland until their 3rd goal went in) and again they just laughed me saying i was deluded and wearing blue tinted glasses. Well i have throughly enjoyed this week at work and Monday night will be the icing on the cake.

    TICK TOCK CHICKEN FARMERS!!!!!

My only worry is all the hardwork over the past 2 1/2 years might get undone if the lure of a top club comes calling for bob which might be too tempting.

    BARCA?????

He also commented about how he his already working towards his next system ready for when everybody starts playing the one we are currently playing.

As you all well know I have been a nailed memeber of the Darkside since Bob became manager. His whole footballing ethos did not work with the players we had and for the best part of two and a half years we have been crap. Then a change of formation and hey presto we started to look like a football team, more solid at the back and creating chances going forward. The players seemed happier like they knew what they should be doing rather than trying to put square pegs in round holes. Shaun Maloney getting a place in the side has been nothing short of a revelation, he always seems to have time and space and rarely miss places a pass. The work rate and effort of the team from Franco all the way through is outstanding and we play some decent stuff too.

I have to say well done Bob it’s taken you a while but some of the football recently has been the best I’ve seen watching the Tics goodpost goodpost goodpost

Half a season longer than he has always said but he got there in the end.
Quote of the master himself, “We will fight relegation for the first 2 seasons then be aiming for a top 10 finish” well on this form we would be on for a top 4 finish.
In the fans chat before the Stoke game he did say he had been working towards this formation for a while and Jean was one of the final pieces of the jigsaw somebody he had been tracking since the 2010 World Cup. He also explained why Maloney had not been playing, SPL not being has good as the Prem and also playing in a side like Celtic you dont have to play to your full potential 95% of the season.

I dont like doing the oles unless its the 89th minute and your 4-0 up came far to early yesterday.

Arsenal Carling cup semi at Highbury always springs to mind.

in reply to: Steady Nigel… #86131

Talking to a lad who used to play for Steady Nigel he was telling me Steady Nigel are coming out of retirement soon playing a game at Chorley.

They should sort out a game away at Southampton next season and make a weekend out of it and its odds on we will be away there first game of the season.

You still have got time to sponsor us, hopefully after beating Fulham on Saturday we might have Arsenal and Fulham fans chasing us around the course boosting our time.

i saw your bird at the ticket office this afternoon, and the infamous thread came into my head, i had a little chuckle to myself ;)

Banned for three games for his punch on Maloney. Brilliant – means he can’t play against QPR. Now how is that justice for us?

Has he? Can’t find any confirmation of this.[/quote]
