I remember in our early seasons of the Prem a Wigan fan got arrested and banned for 3 years for doing a Nazi salute towards the Spurs fans, when asked why he did it he said that its what everybody does against Spurs

So because I made one fishing comment I am now ‘Arky’ ..

I’m 23 years of age (Very Handsome) and my season ticket is sat next to I believe Scoffy (Not sure if he still posts) ..

And as stated.. The mods will be able to tell you who is who via the IP adresses.

I havent been on for a good while not even lurking, slowly got brassed off with all the moaning and Suddy. I am thinking of making a comeback though.
Handsome? i would say you looked a lot better last night now your tash as blown off. And if you think its me you sit next to then you wasnt there on Saturday when man landed on the moon.

How about this one for when we play the Hub Capper or Villa.
To the tune of Amore.

Villa wanted you, but then you gave them two.
That’s Roberto.
Then the Scouse wanted you.
So then you gave them two.
That’s Roberto.
Wigan wanted you.
You said, ‘That will do’
That’s Roberto.
Wigan wanted you.
You said ‘That will do’
That’s Roberto
That’s Roberto.
That’s Roberto

13 Lines, You have more chance of finding rocking horse shite on the moon than getting that going.

Does he miss Saturday now?

1 game ban I think, looking at it he might be injured for the game anyway. 2 and half weeks to recover for manure.

She won’t be in the job for long. I’m told that its ceasing publication
sometime next year.

What will I wipe my arse with then?

A good cup run breads confidence, we saw that in the first season and the other times we have actually bothered

That was a great work out for the team today. Some nice football from both sides and some hefty challenges going in all through he match. If it had been an EPL game, there would have been at least 7 bookings and 2 sendings off.
Thought Ramis looked very comfortable on and off the ball, at times telling Caldwell and Alcarez were to go.

Now it gets a bit controversial, I thought the MOM by a whisker ahead of Maloney was Master Jordie Gomez. :woohoo: goodpost

Fan of the day by a country mile was the Spaniard wearing the RCD Mallorca top and waving the flag, sat with the directors and prawn sandwich brigade.

Skill of the day had to be the scoop over the defender that Moses did just in front of the West Stand

Tonight I’m taking him to see beach volleyball. Can’t wait.

Pervert! :P
yea but what he has not told us is its male event :woohoo:
Four matches tonight. Two female and two trips to the bar.
Not at £5 a pint, i went watching it Sunday morning and loved it.

Steven Reid for Blackburn sticks out, In fact all 3 Blackburn’s goals that day were terrific. Seem to remember Mark Stallard scoring for Notts County in the last minute to end Filan’s clean sheet run. We won about 7-1 or something daft and he went potty as it was the first one let in in about 7 games. But if i remember rightly it was a peach.

That and any goal by Andy Liddell

It made it 3-1 and along with Filan going potty there was a few of us in the South Stand going potty, only because we had got Dinning and 3-1 on the coupon.

The David Eyres goal is probably the best i have seen.Low cross from the right at the town end and the best volley i have ever seen at any level of the game.
Seem to remember a little bit of bother after that goal from some PNE ‘infiltrators’

I had had a skin graft on my ankle the same day as that game and was in Whiston Hospital listening to that game on Radio Lancashire. The most blatant biased commentary i have ever heard (apart from Chris Waddle when we played Spurs in the FA Cup on Setanta) you wouldnt have thought that Wigan used to be a part of Lancashire and most people still write it on their Address.

in reply to: Rumours of friendlies scheduled… #89078

Friendlies are a joke about as much passion as a wet wednesday in Leigh.

Have to agree with that bit. I used to go to loads of em but realised eventually that (IMO) as a supporter they were a complete waste of my time & money & gave no indication of how the team would perform or how good players were – I remember seeing Danny Vaughan skin every team in pre-season & thinking we had a belter!!
We did have a belter until he got sent down for armed robbery.
