Errr…. is there supposed to be a link?
To be honest 9-1 was OK. It was something so out of the ordinary that it can almost be ignored.
It’s the 3-0s and 4-0s that we need to worry about.
Let them say what they want.
Don’t worry that people will see it.
After all – look at these goals.
Wonder why we didn’t go for him…..
Say’s so in’t Sunday rag !Must be true then ;)
”And now Spurs v Wolves. Now the last time Spurs played a team beginning with W they won 9-1 ! ” FFS who writes the scripts !!Factually correct though.
Sorenson was that far off his line I thought he was gonna take it !!Still a rubbish penalty though.
If he’d stayed on his line he’d have stopped it too.
According to the teletext he is resurrecting his career with us?
Has he ever played for us and if not where is he coming from.
By all accounts he sounds like a proper walking wounded…….http://lmgtfy.com/?q=michael+ball+footballer[/quote]
Never mind Michael Ball?
What’s “let me google that for you”?
Looks like you go to this site instead of having to go to Google – then you type in the words in that site , rather than Google, and it’ll then search…. Google.
Brilliant! Why didn’t I think of that? :D
Pitch widths:
Old Trafford 76 yards
Anfield 75 yards
Stoke 75 yards
DW Stadium 66 yards (60 metres)“Worst team ever?” can be answered in two words.
“Kenny” and “Swain”.
I thought Scotland had his best game for us – he does look as though he’s improving and is certainly no Aghahowa.
And Gomez looked good too – he has some good touches.
I’m quietly confident they’ll be OK.
I’m afraid the Spaniard has to go.
He just hasn’t got a clue.
Results are all over the place.
Losing games that shouldn’t be lost.
No idea about tactics.
No chance of a trophy this year.
No.
It’s time for Benitez to go, I say.
Don’t know where people have got this “same as 1966 group” nonsense from.
Not just you, Vat. I’ve heard this from a few other sources.
SINCLAIR ( 10 mins a game cant really say, dont think he will stay) SELLI’m sure that says “SELL”.
I must go to Specsavers.
Actually Brazil, Portugal and Korea WEREN’T in the same group in 66.
In the group stage Brazil, Portugal, Hungary and Bulgaria were in Group 3 (Goodison and Old Trafford). North Korea were up in the North East with Italy, Chile and Russia.
They then played Portugal in the quarter-final at Goodison – the famous Eusebio match.
Don’t know where people have got this “same as 1966 group” nonsense from.
And I’m old enough to know!!
