Wigan Athletic’s pacey forward Nohua Dicko is relishing at the chance of a starting place in Blackpool FC’s promotion playoff campaign.

The frenchman on loan from footballing neighbours Wigan Athletic has scored in his last 2 appearences for The Tangerines.

With Blackpools first leg at Bloomfield Road on Friday against fellow Premiership relegates Birmingham Dicko sounds more up for it than ever!

The former Strasbourg player said: “I have done all I can in the last two games to try to get in the team and I am happy to be scoring goals at this stage of the season.

“It was important for me to score in the last two matches because I haven’t played a lot of games at Blackpool.

“I think I have shown what I can do and now the gaffer will have to make his choice.

“Birmingham is a massive game for the club, very important, and if I start it will be great for me.

“But if I don’t get in the starting 11, then I just hope to be involved in the squad and hopefully I will get a chance to come on and show what I can do.”

No doubt Wigan Athletic fans will be keeping a close eye on his performance if he is involved.
