Wigan Athletic are looking at the possibility of losing one striker but to replace him with a Spanish starlet.

Mauro Boselli had a turbulent time at Latics as he tried to come to terms with the Premiership, but it looks increasingly likely that he will decide to move on to Estudiantes if we can secure the signing of a Spanish replacement.

Adrian Colunga was on the radar last summer but time ran out to firm up an offer, but the 26 year old seems to be up for the move and his current club Getafe and their coach Luis Garcia are waiting for the right offer.

"I don’t want him to go, but the decision rests with our coach Luis Garcia," Angel Torres (President of Getafe) told the Spanish media.

"Colunga could score 12 or 14 goals this season and be very valuable to our club."

Colunga’s agent is muting that the player wants to come to the premiership.
