Never mind the furore of Wigan Athletic keeping their Premier League status intact on the last day of the season, what an exciting end for the CLPL.

There were many front runners for the title of ‘Cockney Latic Prediction League Champion 2010-2011’ (Sponsored by Work It Recruitment) and just like Latics in the real world, anybody could have won it up to six weeks ago.

It came down to just six in the last week as it was realistically between Bobby C, Willy Wombat, SuperVlad, A CONROY, Phil T and The Duke.

In the closest battle yet though, willy wombat took the title, the trophy and the fully signed up Latics shirt, winning by just 4 points.

An amazing feat considering there were 413 matches to predict, proving that this scoring system definitely kept it more interesting.

Well done also to those that won signed training shirts for being monthly winners throughout the season and we hope you will go through it all again next season.

Well done for everybody taking part and once again thanks for Work It Recruitment Wigan for Sponsoring the League, without them there would be no prizes or a League to run – THANK YOU.
