How do the experts see Wigan Athletic’s game against West Ham United, let’s have a look at how the pundits, predictors and bookies see this game going at the weekend….
Mark Lawrenson has gone for a 2-0 win to the home side, he has also gone for a 1-1 draw at the KC Stadium. On our prediction he said:
I went to Anfield on Monday and I was very surprised because West Ham laid down and died. They did everything but have their tummy scratched by Liverpool in the 3-0 defeat.
Half the team did not seem to be committed whatsoever and I think their manager Gianfranco Zola will walk at the end of the season even if they do stay up.
They were perhaps thinking of this Wigan match while they were at Liverpool, believing a win here will be enough to keep them safe, which is very dangerous.
However, I am going to go for a home win here. The only caveat to that is, with Wigan, they are unpredictable. Nobody could foresee what they did in the last few minutes against Arsenal on Sunday.
The prediction league are split at 19% each for a 1-1 draw and 2-1 Latics win…
Betfair, the fastest growing betting site in the UK, they have it going the way of a 1-0 home victory with odds of 7/1, 2-1 to the Latics is at 8/1 and 3-0 to Latics a 20/1 punt.
West Ham are favourites to win game at 5/6, so if betting is something you do, maybe a try of Betfair is something to consider seeing as Latics are 4/1 for the win and new registrants can bet £10 on the outcome and if it loses get £20 back as a St. George’s Day treat.
