With the January Transfer Window officially being open, any news on any transfer activity?
I’ve heard a rumour doing the rounds that we’re interested with Tyler Blackett from Reading along with competition from Boro and Stoke. By the sounds of it from Reading fans it’s not a very inspiring signing and they’d be happy to see the back of him.
I’m not inspired by this signing either. Signing someone from a team who are in a worse league position than what we are.
I would think that Tyler Blackett wouldn’t be inspired by the thought of Wigan if he had a choice between us, Boro or Stoke.
Max Power has completed his move to Sunderland and Jamie Walker has been recalled from Peterborough.
I’ve a feeling Walkers recall may be something to do with the rumoured transfer to Rangers.
McManaman would surely be the ideal replacement for the injured Massey.. and to be honest he should have been playing there all season anyway.Of course he should have…..Cook has shown his willingness to play anyone in that position except the man best qualified for it.
Rumour we’ve took a snifter at George Edmundson a young centre half. He’s a product of the Oldham academy. Would be looking at about £400k-£500k. Sounds like another for the future along with Lopez

Annoyed that Callum Elder has gone on loan to Ipswich for the rest of the season.

Saw a tweet that we’re apparently linked with a loan move for Oliver Burke. First rumour I’ve seen that actually sounds exciting but also seems equally far-fetched. Can’t see it happening but that might just be me being pessimistic.
I read not long back he’s had setback after setback with hamstring problems since his £15million move to West Brom. That’s something we could with avoiding
