We are meant to be signing this mon from bolton today! From what i have seen of him and read on the bolton forums he is meant to be a good un!
Bolton fans cant believe he is joining us.Whats that Lincolnlatic on about on Wiganer.net that some of our fans racially abused him ? I dont remember hearing any of that even though I have heard the ES2 black nylon wearing crew being racist in the past ! Maybe they did and if they did then I am ashamed to be associated with the skunk smelling spotty oiks !
Yeah i do actually remember that, although i never joined in. It went something like this “Whos the puma tracky (work it out) in the nets”
But as a keeper i think he’s decent, good back-up and he’s allot better than pollitt and any other keeper we’ve got

Bolton lad in my work seemed a bit miffed were signing him :D
He says he played a handful of games last season and didnt put a foot wrong.
About time Kirkland had some healthy competition.
Just my opinion, but I suppose giving your opinion is what the board is about (unless you’re Donnelly and you just c&p stuff ;) )
But if he is any good, why are Bolton letting him come to us?

I think he’s better than what we have in reserve, I will be more comfortable with him coming on when the inevitable happens to Kirky than the big Serb.
So all in all its improving the squad but no doubt some people will moan.Being under study to probably one of the best ever keepers in the Premier league for the last four years might have something to do with it in my opinion

Or do we, in reality, realise that Kirkland has got a glass back, and is prone to injury? Thus Al Habsi will get a fair few games, with a bit part role for Pensioner Pollett.
Seems like a really clever and sensible signing to me. Hes got prem experience, hes a decent keeper better than what we’ve had in the past. And to be honest i think he’l give Kirkland a run for his money in the starting line up. Ive never rated Kirkland anyway… Lets just not be racist to him :roll:
