Are you basing this on TV footage where they showed him smiling, or did you sit throughout the game watching him…in fact, don’t bother answering that as I can imagine you actually would do that.

If you mean being bottom of the league, there are much bigger teams who’ve been there before us, and it’s not as if nobody expects us to be there every season.
I think you need a reality check – either that, or get out of Wigan and speak to other people. The only thing people laugh about with Wigan is the lack of supporters.

I don’t have a problem with Whelan being in charge but how has he let Martinez take us from a mid-table Premiership team to a crap Premiership team since Martinez has been in charge. It seems like he’s just woken up to that fact after the Swansea game… I saw it coming 2 years ago.
