Here,Here…..Has standish no ambition or just happy to spew out the we are itsy, bitsy liddle Wigan and thank you for letting us spend time in your premiership.”I promise we’ll go now and never bother you again “.Jesus have some spine ,1000% increase in gates since 1982 and we have sweated blood and tears to get here and stay here ,not to shrink away with our tails between our legs.I like it here and as I’ve said before let’s stay up or go down snarling, not as we are now pathetic ,whimpering self pitying f*****g jelly fish !!!!

It’s f’ck all to do with ambition. Yes, I’d love us to fight and stay in the Premier League, and if we go down, I’d like us to fight to get back up again.

I’m proud to be a Wigan Athletic supporter: I’m proud to dress my son in a Wigan Athletic kit for soccer school when he’s outnumbers by kids in Liverpool, United, City and Everton kits; I’m proud to tell people who I support when I’m on holiday, who just assume I’ll either be a rugby fan or supporter one of the other big North West clubs.

I’m certainly not embarrassed supporting Wigan.

The pitch and pies fact is right ,poor attendances though ? Nah ,only ignoramus’s who do nil research and worry me not, make uneducated statements concerning attendances. This generation has been nurtured on prem football and for us to continue to slowly expand we need to do our utmost to maintain it.Not at any cost though !

Brownbill, that’s the point though. Most of those who do poke fun know nothing about the club or the town.

Our pitch is shocking, our attendances are poor, we all prefer rugby, the rugby fill the stadium every week, we all eat pies. The losing games bit is brushed over, as it’s expected.

I’ve spoken to people in the past who honestly thought Wigan had been relegated – and they’ve needed reminding that we actually survived yet again as they generally pay no interest to the bottom half of the table.
