As others have said, and even you commented on (to pre dismiss it)
If the players showed some intent and a smidgen of passion, or the manager showed any ability to get it right from the off, perhaps the crowd would have reacted accordingly.
Where, when and why did the booing actually start on saturday – I think you may find or remember not until the crowd realised what was being served up was dire – and that is down to the motivation of the team not the fans and that is why what martinez has said is another in his long line of lame excuses.
