I have watched latics for over 45 years and never been a member and there are many more who have never been members, and as far as I was led to believe only members were invited.
If you wish to talk about keyboard warriors I think 5525 qualifies you lord and master of that tribe.

No, I’m not a member. Pompous arrogant pricks don’t tend to join supporters clubs.
But, if I was as pissed off and angry with Martinez as you lot are, I’d have been tempted to pay the fiver to join and go and have my say to his face.
Unless of course I’d prefer to do it from the comfort, safety and anonymity of my own bedroom; a sort of keyboard warrior, if you will.
I’d say the guy sat at the front was as close as it got! We don’t score in 40% of games so that’s us not scoring in 4 or 5. I would say I’m part of the dark side but I came away from tonight just agreeing to disagree on some points.

I am dissappointed that any Latics fan doesn;t become a member of the only true Wigan Athletic Fans association…. web sites and message boards apart this is the only thing left standing from Springfield Park. It was here before most of us and will only be here after us if we join.

In his usual way. The bloke was pushing him on how he could always make bad news sound good and that was his biggest gripe.
Lots of detailed answers and positivity and it’s a good job he clarified the bit about the atmosphere at home games that needed sorting out.
