Garbage as usual, time for a change, let me be the first to say it.MARTINEZ OUT,I await the Martinez mafias reply goodpost
5 January 2013 at 9:35 pm #99141Very poor performance. One shot on target in 90 minutes excluding the penalty which Gomez did his best to cock up.We did hit the bar twice though.
Played with a back 4 so struggled to retain the ball in midfield.
Boselli was useless as usual, the new lad from utd didn’t impress either. Poor control.
You’d think some of the fringe players would try to impress but no.
Espinoza seemed to have the mobility of a pensioner at half time on the pitch – very stiff !!!

What does he expect? That was shite. At least the midweek replay gives him an excuse when we are beaten in our following league match……
Spanish Clown!
P.S. This ‘passing football’ we supposedly play. It’s awful. 95% of passes are sideways…..its rubbish.
5 January 2013 at 10:00 pm #99145Another mid week game for the fringe players will do them no harm what so ever gives them more of a run out anyhoo it’s nice to see that the first Martinez out post,Spanish clown remark as come in January and not mid October he must be doing something right

Shite manager…..shite team. Seriously. The sooner off they feck off down to the Championship, the better. If it were an an animal it would’ve been shot by now.
Won’t get 35 points this season.

What is it with your boner for the championship?
You’ve been wanting us to go south for ages.
If you think its really that bad Bolton isn’t too far down the road.

Sorry but you are now judging players by how they looked (to you) in the warm up at half time??
You cannot be serious

6 January 2013 at 4:07 am #99243Garbage as usual, time for a change, let me be the first to say it.MARTINEZ OUT,I await the Martinez mafias reply goodpostSo if it was no surprise then why have you wasted your and all our time posting your unconstructive bollox?
I’ve not been happy since Palace away 2 seasons ago about the contempt Martinez shows for cup games and the disrespect he and his players show to fans that take the trouble to find the cash and energy to turn up.
However, whilst I think 9 changes were a step too far, I think we had no choice but to make wholesale changes especially with our bogey team/ground coming up in a must must must win game.Instead it gave a chance to measure up our fringe players and whilst they didn’t appear to give that good an account of themselves, they could be excused for rarely playing together against an in form team. In fact looking at respective form, league positions and players todays game could easily resemble a game between 2 teams at the top and bottom of the Championship.
Furthermore we blooded a number of new faces (Dicko included). I’m also sure that the likes of Stam, Gomez and esp Boselli didn’t want to get injured in a small cup game when they are likely to be called on for Prem games.
I also bizarrely think that a replay is a better result than a win as it gives our fringe players more competitive game time and a chance to redeem their sorry arses.
So all in all it WAS surprise to me that we didn’t lose and are in the draw later today. Who knows, maybe knowing who we’ll be playing next will act a some motivation to win the replay?

6 January 2013 at 4:23 am #99247P.S. This ‘passing football’ we supposedly play. It’s awful. 95% of passes are sideways…..its rubbish.Prior to the Utd game, SSN showed a stat that we’re 9th in the PL for attempted passes and 9th for completed passes. We can’t even get that right.
6 January 2013 at 8:27 am #99255Oh believe it.Please believe it.
We were crap!!
