Remember that City away game sat in that temporary open away stand in the corner at Maine Road. We should have won that game but for the ‘hand of Goat ‘ goal that robbed us. Graham Jones rattled the crossbar in the closing stages but it wasn’t to be!
Yeah I was in that scaffold stand. I remember been late and coach driver dropped us off about 1/2mile away. We had to leg it and when we ran past the stand City fans were trying to trip us and kick us. Just as bad as their scum neighbors
