Was told last night from someone close to DW but no connection to football , was told to him directly over weekend .
A change will be made if we are rock bottom after the Sunderland game , an ex manager has been sounded out to “join” Martinez as joint manager .

Joint managers do NOT work. Look at Evans and Houllier. That was only done, because they realised that in Evans they had someone who loved their club….but who had no respect from the players, and was out of his depth as manager…..but they didn’t want to sack the ‘long time club favourite.’ It was actually cringeworthy what happened, with Evans being totally undermined in all he did, and being forced out of the club eventually…..

Be better if Roberto either resigned or was sacked, rather than start messing about like that. I’m not entirely sure he’d go for it anyway, as he clearly has a stubborn streak, and I would hope he would maintain some dignity.
