Is owd spud yed’s credit no longer any good at Harrods ????
Tell him to go away; or let’s at least put a decent price tag on Figgy, say £8m !
and spud yed says fig is keen on the move as well ,ok let him go but not for 4 mill and fook him off in reserves when he is fit ,im sure we can find a better replacement .

I don’t think he’s a great left-back. He’s not bad, but he does get caught out of position quite a bit, like against City. He gave the ball away for the goal, and was caught way up in their half.
All depends on who we could get as a replacement. I have Edman down as a decent player, but we’d still need someone else.This is only my opinion, mind. I’m sure many will want us to hold on to him. I do too. But then again, 5 million would be a good price, I think. And, if he wants to go……
Why keep him in the reserves paying him a wage? If any player wants away, let them go. They aren’t worthy of the shirt.
Edman is the better left back in my opinion. As Vat correctly pointed out, he was out of position for the City goal, and also for the Burnley goal at the weekend.
The only advantage I think he has over Edman is his age, which means he is likely to get better with the more games he plays.
If he wants to go, let him. He isn’t pivotal to the team.
Apparently, he’ll be out for a while now with knackered knee ligaments so we’ll see how good Edman will be as a replacement. Personally, I think he’ll be fine.
Hopefully Edman will indeed be fine. He was certainly a decent player before the injury so lets hope so. Because as much as Zog would probably do a good job there, we don’t want to be losing one of our best attacking options.

I wouldn’t let him go on the cheap though, nothing less than £6mil. If the fat, Traiting, unloyal, ugly, geordie, master of the long ball sh.it wants him he will have to pay. £5 mill plus Kenwyn Jones is fair do’s.

Have read the fee suggested today as £5 mil. Whilst I agree that Fig has not been playing as well, quite possibly taking longer to get used to playing Bobbys way and that Edman might be more suited to the passing game.
The downsides for me are
1. Fig is a much physically stronger player than Edman, and looks more than capable of covering at centre half if needed.
2. How much of Fig’s loss of form is down to the bruce.
3. As and when Fig goes, how soon after will it be before bruce comes in for his fellow honduran, Hendry Thomas who is improving in each game he plays and will be outstanding by next season.
As Fig wants to go it now merely seems a matter of how much and when. I think Bobby should be asking top dollar, whilst unlikely to happen it would be interesting and hopefuly unsettling to bruce if bobby were to ask for one of their players in exchange. e.g Kenwynne Jones or Kieran Richardson.

Kenwyne Jones is a hugely over-rated, pile of gash – I wouldn’t want him as part ex regardless of the money on top

You cannot ask for either Jones or Richardson as part-ex, as they would both be worth a LOT more than Fig, I would rather us keep hold of Fig anyway, but i do like edman and think he’s a relaly good player. Kenwyne Jones is immense and in regards to whoever said they wouldn’t want him over what we already have is talking garbage, Rodallega maybe but any other striker, he’d beat to the team, probably even Rodallega tbh
