      Go Carroll and tunks
      Def; Walsh, methven, atherton, dezeuw hinnegan and Boyce
      Mid: Langley, Jeff Wright, Martinez, Kelly, Liddell, nzogbia, gore
      Fwd ; houghton, Ellington, Roberts, Jones, heskey.
      Not sure what my starting 11 would be though!

          To put into context how hard this is, below are some teams a poster put on a rival site that had the same idea:

          There are five teams below, and still no room for – Ellington, Roberts, De Vos, Kirkland, Robinson, Atherton, Moses, Carroll, Liddle, Lowe, Martinez, or Scharner (and certainley more great players)

          How could any one name the best eleven out of the fantastic players we have had over the years?
          Its impossible!!!

              That’s an astute call with Shearer, was he related to Alan?

              It’s been fun the thinking about all the great players. Wets the appetite for the future whenever that is.
