On the same subject a Black guy I know who I used to play football with made this comment on Face Book earlier !!
Michael Grell– Desmond old boy remember we grew up in the 60’s 70’s and 80’s when you got called allsorts, we also played football and I know we both got racially abused but it didnt kill us it made us stronger. I remember the uproar from Liverpool fans when they signed Barnes, the comment by the then Everton manager about no blacks will play for Everton while he was manger. The thing about Suarez and JT is and this is my opinion is that they arent racist but they did make a racist remark and deserve to be punished. But on the other hand is Ice T or a number of black comedians racist because they use the N word ??????
its all gone mad, the only saving grace is the further it goes the sooner it will have to stop.
