Ugh relegation sucks balls. I need the next few weeks to fly by so I can’t start looking forward to next season.
Villa needs to be a celebration of 8 amazing years and one very special day at Wembley.
being honest its been ont cards?you cant keep going on like this year in year out it was always gona catch up.[/quote]
Of course it was. We all knew it would be a case of when and not if. And there’s nothing to say we won’t be back next year. It still sucks balls though.

I think the number of players who stay will differ vastly on what Martinez does. If he stays then some of our players will stay. If he goes a lot will go as well.
Di Santo, Alcaraz, Figueroa, McCarthy all gone regardless.
Maloney, McManaman, Gomez, Kone and others might stay if Bobby does.
I hope Bobby stays. I don’t know if I can watch Bruce type football again.
It will be our decision. Figs, Alcaraz and Di Santo apart the rest are under contract so if we sell em its on our terms. We get 15 million parachute payment, get a few big hitters off books, make about 20 million in transfers and we should have a good chance of returning. I would be surprised if Bobby walks on relegation.
The way Bobby talks about the club, he clearly has a real affection for the club, the town and Sir Dave Whelan. He also is passionate about his vision for the club. The more I hear him talk in interviews the more I suspect he will stay.
My money says Bobby will lead us out at Wembley once more.

its 23 million parachute payment.
alcaraz,di santo, figgy, mccarthy, scharner all going even if we had stayed up.
so we need a left back,goalie,2 centre halves, right back and 2 forwards and 2 midfielders in my opinion.so that’s 9 new players who need bedding in,its gonna be along season next.
I personally think Kone has been off his game for a while. His postional play and helping back was fookin bone idol. If it weren’t for shaun and MacManaman we would have gone down a few week back.
I lost count the times he was stood on the wrong side of 3 defenders waiting for the ball rather than making a run and cut across.
And to be honest, I support Wigan not the Premiership.
