I personally think Kone has been off his game for a while. His postional play and helping back was fookin bone idol. If it weren’t for shaun and MacManaman we would have gone down a few week back.
I lost count the times he was stood on the wrong side of 3 defenders waiting for the ball rather than making a run and cut across.

And to be honest, I support Wigan not the Premiership.

Got to disagree with that. Kone has been an unsung hero winning every single ball and being the best holdup player since Heskey, creating space for McManaman and Maloney to take the headlines with their more attractive style of play. My man of the match for the cup final

The problem I have with next season is “SUNDAY FOOTBALL”. With us going straight into the group stages and a possible 10 matches to play Thursday/Sunday will be a regular thing. There’s also the extra 8 league games + FA Cup Carling Cup and a small squad it’s going to be nigh impossible to come straight back up next season.

I can’t stand Sunday football

I disagree but it won’t make a difference because he won’t be here next season.

I agree about Kone,he’s spent most recent games running into blind alleys. His hold up play and 1st touch have been dire, had quite a few chances that he missed (2 back pass shots against spurs come to mind) and for me I wont be slitting my wrists if he left.If Robbie stays then I think we may keep hold of key players if not I fear a wilderbeast stampede through the door. I still have my opinions on Robbies sexy football and its frailties but I would prefer he stays so as to keep some stability as its going to be one tough slog next season, and a complete restructuring is not the answer.
