Maybe you should try getting behind the team rather than calling for the manager’s head after 2 games. What help is that? And who could we replace him with? Ian Dowie?
Give the man a chance, I’d go as far as saying it’s the players more at fault than Martinez is.
They are HIS players.
Goalkeeper – not martinez’s
Back four – 3 are Martinez’s
Midfield – 2 are Martinez’s
“Strikers” (trade descriptions act may apply) – 1 is Martinez’s
Backroom Staff -All Martinez’sThe backbone of the team are his and Daves choices. Its about time he stood up and accepted the rap instead of blaming the players or anyone but himself. The guy is screaming out “Nervous Breakdown”.

And when you recover from your nervous breakdown please feel free to post again
21 August 2010 at 11:44 pm #43559A bit harsh. Bob is trying his best but is simply out of his depth and too scared to do anything different. He’s also lost the players who just look like scared rabbits most of the time.He should do himself a favour and walk. Maybe go abroad and he might gain valuable experience in a less pressurised environment.
Back tut th’owd job then for Roberto eh Hughey

Duke iv’e just read one of your previous posts and you didn’t even go so how come your on hear asking us who did go to support the team.
22 August 2010 at 10:13 pm #43689Mate, I live over an hour away from Wigan, I don’t have a season ticket because I simply can’t get to all the games.
After being battered by Blackpool, do you expect me to fork out £25 (or whatever the price was) to see us lose to Chelsea when I can watch it in my own house?
I’m not an armchair fan, but I fail to see the point in spending my hard earned cash by watching us get battered.
Plus I’m on about those that did go, they were silent, and when they weren’t they were booing.
That’s my point about the support. Martinez has no support. How can he be expected to perform when our fans are willing him to fail (even if the won’t admit it)
