What?? And exactly what evidence are you basing this on? The fact that we managed to get a clean sheet draw away from home against a top 4 team in our first game without our “rotten core”. As there is no more evidence than that at the moment. Shame on you for such blinkered rantings.

I think that the ‘evidence’ is there for all to see. The fact that we did manage to get that draw despite not having the ‘star’ players and using what he had at the time, to me, shows that those who have departed wanted no more of this club. OK that’s just my opinion and it’s how i saw the game, however, others have also said the same. I would also like to add that, and some may not agree, the backroom staff have to hold their hands up as well as there has been no evidence, again to me, of them being eager on the touchline to offer advice. Indeed the only time I saw Barrow active was when there was an opportunity of a punch-up.
Further I agree with Trent on how he sees those players as well and as JR has already spotted Maloney did not do himself any favours by playing out of his skin for Scotland and then mooching around the pitch for us.
Finally, I’ll end by echoing The Egg’s sentiments in that I too want to see him have the time to put this right, and I firmly believe that he will.
Who Egg? Maybe the Liverpool lad possibly?The lack of new manager syndrome is because of the shitestorm which engulfed him when he landed. Under other circumstances he may have got off to a flying start.
Then he started doing what Rosler did, messing about with the team in such a way we were never going to score many goals, certainly not enough to cover our shite defence (Ramis excepted). I think he tried to play too many of our ‘stars’ who all happened to be midfielders.At no point do I think the players weren’t trying to win football games and I suppose that’s where opinions differ.
The appointment of Malkay surprised a few no doubt, and initially looked like it was a bad decision. But that is / was not the reason for our predicament. Two star players like Maloney & Callum most definitely did not perform for us, they defo wanted away.
Malkay is having to bring in basement bargains for sure. But what they may lack in quality they appear to make up for in heart. I know what I would rather watch..
Time will tell, but I think this fella just might do a job for us?
