Football Town? My one and only response to this debate – If you want to see whether Wigan’s a football town or rugby town then take a walk around the playing fields on a Sunday morning and see what game is mainly being played.

the thing is with Lardy he failed to mention that the away allocation as reduced to 4800 and even uniteds following was well below that which bemused me half of the away end would have a few wiganers in anyhow so double whammy for the lodgers as many of them knobheads support Yanited
