For what it’s worth as its only DW opinion that really matters what’s the consensus on here.

Time to make a decision now before it’s too late or give him time ?

Personally I believe all managers need time and the most successful clubs are those with patience. However it’s not the start of the season but also the end of last season we have been in decline but a new team needs time to develop. His constant tinkering and strange team selections does test the patience though?

From day one I have always had my doubts about Rosler. If you shout often and loud enough eventually no one listens , like you ignore your child when they have a mad screaming tantrum. His tactics have only ever consisted of “Work your stones off and run yourself into the ground” and that’s about it.
That squad is the best in the division and yet we are still so easy to beat. It’s time for him to go , tactically he is clueless. The Ipswich game was proof of that .

Okay, so who is the right man to replace him ?

For me he’s got a little time left.

Major talking at tomorrow by DW I hope.

On current form we have little chance of winning the next 2 games; it will be about the performance. Come the Brentford and Fulham home games we simply have to be winning or bye bye Uwe for me.

On the other hand the end could well come tomorrow if DW doesn’t like what he hears

No. He has had spells of management and failed. He is a coach, a really good assistant but not a manager. A bit like Kenny Swain (awaits brickbats) who is a very good coach (look at his success with England’s youth teams) but a terrible manager.

Whelan had the chance to get McClaren at the helm and chose the cheaper option, more fool him I say! I am still confused at the Fortune starting the game choice he made when he has 2 new strikers at his disposal !

I wouldn’t go as far as to say that it is the best squad in the division but on paper it certainly looks pretty strong! Rosler is having a problem utilising said squad and some of his decisions have been some what baffling if the truth be known! His body language both during and after games has changed and he appears to be losing confidence to me. The double substitutions are usually a sign of desperation and we have seen a couple of those of late and the folded arms in the technical area bring back some recent memories also!! I do think that Mr Whelan needs to have a quiet word in his ear and if any of the unrest rumours are true then those need to be cleared up swiftly as well. Who knows, we could get 6 points from the next 2 games and all will be upbeat again but can you really see that happening on recent form? No I didn’t think so!

Back him – he hasn’t got a bad record as a manager If you check his stats out .
he won’t be sacked but I’d expect some serious chats with the owner over the next few days and one or two heads banged together.

I think the biggest mistake that Rosler has made, was changing the team that beat Blackpool and Birmingham. OK McCarthur had gone so it just needed one “forced” change.
Riera just seemed to be finding some form and there was some balance to the team and also ample scoring opportunities, 4 of which were nicely dispatched in the Brummy net.

He then starts to mess around with the team, formation the lot and since that Brum game, its been almost back to pre season stuff, chop, change, try this, try that.
Delort should have spent some time on the bench watching how the game is played in England, instead he’s thrown straight into the team, upsetting Riera who must have thought he’d done enough to earn a longer run in the team.

Having a big squad has both its advantages and disadvantages, players are obviously going to be left out, but will be needed when the time is right, injuries, suspensions, loss of form etc.
Burnley got promoted last year by keeping the same team and formation, it was only injuries and suspensions that forced Dyche to meddle with the team.

In my opinion, Rosler has undone all his good work from last season, it doesn’t need any rumours to convince me that the team has lost its spark. I’ve seen it for myself in the last 4 games and so has every other fan.

The good thing is, there is still plenty time to turn this thing around. I think Whelan should not knee jerk yet, yes let Rosler know that he needs to get things sorted, but give him chance to do it, with Black and Barrow’s help.

We have at least two players in every position, so no need to play Perch on the left hand side, play Waghorn on the wing or move Andy Delort to midfield in order to accommodate another forward.
This game is far more simpler that its being made to look, especially with the quality of players we have.

Rosler needs to ring fence is starting 11 and formation, stick to it and only make changes if players get suspended, injured or lose their form. Its ridiculously too early to start squad rotation, we have not played 10 bleedin league games yet.

                  From Matlock to ManU
                  What a journey!

Worst decision ever especially as I had 66/1
